Kamilla Bergsnev

Musher-navigator, cognitive psychology researcher, sensory chronicler

Kamilla is a Norwegian musher-navigator-researcher who translates scientific rigour into striking tactile and sensory experiences. Raised on the rugged coastlines of Norway, she is fluent in small-boat seamanship, navigation and radio communication instrumentation. At Villfaret, Kamilla runs the sailboat and mushing operations in extreme conditions. Her practical expertise keeps every voyage safe and productive; her curiosity turns environment observations into sensory experiences that inform Villfaret’s art and science exhibitions.

Ana Luisa Sánchez Laws

Artist-scientist, explorer-storyteller, technology expert

Ana Luisa is an interdisciplinary artist-scientist-explorer whose practice traces the fracturing lines between human presence and Arctic wilderness. Born in Panama, she blends field-based research, documentary photography, and painting to interrogate how climate, heritage, and policy reshape northern lifeways. Ana Luisa joins Villfaret’s dog-sled expeditions and coordinates long-term heritage observations: she turns raw data into visual narratives—oil paintings, installation work and immersive XR pieces—that make complex science viscerally accessible.
